Wanda Cinema Line released its 2016 interim results on August 29.
During the period, the Company recorded revenue of RMB5.722 billion, an increase of 64.12% from the same period of last year. Net profit was RMB805 million, representing a year-on-year increase of 28.05%. Non-box-office revenue reached 32% of total revenue, which is well beyond the industry level and reflects the Company’s reliance on box office has reduced while its ability to diversify has further been enhanced.
In addition, the transformation strategy of “Membership Plus” movie ecosphere has achieved remarkable results.
